The project partners organize a meeting in each six months to discuss past, ongoing and future project activities, to agree on deadlines and responsibilities and to make common decisions regarding the professional and management issues of the project. The first meeting was held in Budapest on the 18-19th of November, 2010 and the last one is to be organized in Kecskemét (Hungary) in September 2012.
The very first meeting of the project was held in Budapest, Hungary on the 18-19th of November 2010. All the project partners attended together with experts of herbs production and process. The meeting can be considered as successful, all the roles were distributed and agreed, the partners could leave the venue knowing their tasks in the project.
The second transnational meeting of the project was in Neuruppin, Germany this summer. During the meeting we discussed the results of the country surveys (made previously by all partners with farmers and students of agricultural vocational schools), and decided the 5 national modules, that will be elaborated by the partners according to the needs they revealed with the surveys. The partnership also decided to develop 5 general modules, regarding herbs processing and usage.
On the third meeting of the Herbs partnership the focus was on the design and content of the demo CD and sample module, together with the already elaborated training materials, and plans on the pilot training. A lot of ideas were shared, and decisions were made, so the work could continue. There is much to do as the deadline of the interim report is approaching, but as the official feedback of the Hungarian national Agency’s monitoring visit stated: we are running the project fine so far.
The last meeting of the partnership was hosted By the Agricultural Chamber of Bács-Kiskun County.
The day before the last meeting the partnership had a Conference, hosting around 100 guests interested in the project and its’ outcomes. The visitors could listen to the general introduction of the project, together with the partners’ contribution and experiences, and the description of the project results.
